Description

“flat slide carburettors have significantly smaller dimensions than the VHSA / VHSB series from DELL’ORTO. This is not only noticeable when they are installed. The compact and short design ensures an extremely direct response. At the same time, in combination with the closed jet system, the voluminous pan also ensures a constant composition of the mix in all ranges, even if extreme centrifugal forces and acceleration forces occur. This makes them the perfect choice for 210cc sports largeframes and classic smallframe race tuning with engine performance up to approx. 30 PS. We stock 24-35mm carburetors in TM (double flat slider, screw mounted) and TMX (even more compact design, 1 rounded slider side for optimized flow, some with power jets) versions. Power jetting that is installed in the TMX 27, 30 and 38 provides the ability to use a smaller main jet to allow the range between 3/4 and full throttle to run more leanly to get better straight-line torque. So that the mixture does not get lean under full load due to the smaller main jet, this is where the power jet enters and – depending on the position of the slide and the load range – injects additional mixture into the carburettor. Carburettors can usually be adjusted via the main jet. In contrast to DELLORTO for example, not only states the hole, but also the flow passage of the jets. The continuous flow of the jets is linear across the entire speed range. This means that the individual powers of the carburettors can be set and delineated relatively neatly from each other. As a basic guideline, the following applies: jet diameter corresponds with DELLORTOx2 jet size. Conclusion: Superb finish and relatively easy to adjust. SIP-TIP: Depending on the destination, different size jets will be needed (e.g. HD 6mm, art no. 40701450). You can safely store 24 of them in the jet box (code 24.209.400). SIP community AUTOMOBILER user part no 40072000: “Super component. Okay!” SIP user community Trapp to performance by non 40060000: “Excellent! This product is excellent!” Great tune, high quality! ” carburetors have an expanded surface area manifold giving them more performance at lower rpm than Dellorto carburettors and the drum are smaller than the VHSA/VHSB. The Mikunis 27, 30 and 38er are also POWERJET carburetors, which feed the mix with a secondary jet during full-throttle operation. The carburetors can be adjusted via the main jet. The input size of the 32er is almost double that of the PHBH 30er from Dellorto. 211er engines get along well with the standard tuning of the 35er. Try, try, try.”
