The original 2-piston brake calipers of the large modern models for VESPA do not have the reputation of being the strongest of components available and deserve immediate replacement when better braking performance is desired. This becomes especially noticeable when crossing the Alps, caught in heavy urban traffic or during longer journeys on the motorway. To convincingly solve these problems, we have a 2-piston caliper, manufactured by the Italian BREMBO brake experts, available with a suitable adapter supplied for secure attachment. Known as a series component on a variety of super sports bikes, this brake caliper, with its two 34mm brake pistons, offers significantly higher braking efficiency than the original. Materials, design and functionality also go into use on current MotoGP bikes. Delivery includes two brake calipers, two matching screws and a banjo bolt with two copper grommets. SIP-TIP: Change the brake fluid and give the brake system complete with professional ventilation. Installation is only possible with the matching adapter (art. n. ZELA01RB).
