Description
It is a superbly calibrated system that includes a primary, a secondary, and a belt.The system is optimized for performance for all areas of operation ?C smooth engagement, torque-sensing acceleration and backshift, and all-day riding in any conditions. The new R-Series has the benefits of a Duraclutch in a simple, elegant design. In addition, the CVT target ratio is linked to throttle position, adjusting for road-load. As a result, there is minimal under or over-shift.The R-Series has effective engine braking, smooth deceleration, and excellent downhill control. For the Sportsman 570, engine braking happens with the clutch engaged. For the RZR 570, the engine braking is continuous and dynamic. The New Duraclutch R-Series is smooth, responsive, and durable. There are six rollers sealed in the movable sheave housing. Internal rollers provide smooth engagement with effective damping, eliminating the harsh engagement of flyweight engaged CTS. The sealed movable keeps the dirt and dust away from the rollers, making it a long-life primary that will perform for miles and years. The New Tied Secondary ClutchThe New Duraclutch R-Series system has a TEAM Tied Secondary with premium rollers. The movable and fixed sheaves are tied through the hub spider.The movable sheave moves axially and does not rotate during upshift or downshift, eliminating scrubbing across the sheaves reducing operating friction. The torque is transmitted equally in both sheaves providing excellent torque sensing and quick response to road-load.This Secondary is unlike other Secondary??s, which transmit torque primarily through the fixed sheave.A Premium BeltThe new premium Duraclutch R-Series belt by MBL couples the Primary and Secondary clutches.
