Driven Clutch |4-Cycle| – 1997-15 Club Car w Kawasaki Engine

Description

The golf cart clutches are responsible for different jobs. The primary up on the engine gets the coach moving and determines the top speed. The Club Car 4-Cycle gas Driven Clutch located on the rear axle handles all of the low-end power. It has a very stiff spring that is designed to keep the sheaves closed as long as possible. The longer they stay closed as the caddie accelerates, the more power you will have to climb hills and pull heavy loads. Depending on the performance you need, there are settings within the part itself to increase or decrease the tension on the Club Car sheaves. This refers to the position of the tines on the spring. The more the sheaves have to spin to line up, the more load you put on the clutch. More load on your spring equals more power out of the coach.
This golf cart clutch is an elementary part to install. There is one hold-down bolt to remove, and then it should slide right off. We can’t remember the last time it was that easy, but you are not in for a challenging job. Just have your rubber mallet handy to give it some encouragement. Get one from today.
