The perforated discs supplied (53.2mm, 58.2mm, 63.2mm, 73.2mm, 74.2mm bore) are simply inserted into the top plate and can therefore be replaced very quickly. No danger from flying parts or injuries from washers that must be held back until they come into contact with the spring. To avoid unnecessary pumping strokes, the top plate can be gradually adjusted in height using the centering pins.
