Since then, lever guards have become an essential and sometimes required piece of protection to avoid the accidental engagement of the brake levers. 
Each R&G Racing Lever Guard is molded from Dupont Zytel 70G33L Nylon which is far superior to other nylon materials found on the market. Dupont Zytel was originally developed for the automotive market and brings with it decades of research and development. It features a high resistance to chemicals and thermal expansion while having a high tensile strength and being lightweight
