Break Where You Want: Break the inside and outside beads while the tractor tire/wheel is still mounted on the tractor, or with the tire/wheel laying flat on the ground.
The Pneumatic Bead Breaker will break the tire bead on a wide variety of tire and wheel combination’s from 10 in. lawnmower tires up to 29 in. tractor tires. Can also be used on 38 in. and 42 in. ply farm tractor and backhoe tires. This handheld tire bead breaker works on all single piece wheels and even some 3-piece wheels. Operates with air impact or battery impact gun and/or air ratchet wrench. No hydraulic pump is needed to operate this tool and no need to remove wheel to break the bead.
How to use the pneumatic tire bead breaker tool
Specific operation:
Step 1. Choose either an air impact or air ratchet. An air ratchet is preferred for hard to reach areas
Step 2. Insert the Impact tool counter-clockwise onto the grapple hook drive bolt and begin to Impact the tool into position, use the handle to guide the wedged feet between the rim edge and tire bead.
Step 3. Impact the drive bolt until the tool is in an upright position and the wedge feet are secured between the bead and rim.
Step 4. Impact the wedge foot drive bolt counter-clockwise until it strips the tire bead free of the rim.
Step 5. Retract foot by reversing impact on wedge foot, then retract grapple hook by reversing drive bolt, finally, remove tool from rim.
